About Thyme Harvest

Thyme Harvest is a space for slowing down.

It began as a quiet shift—away from rushing, away from creating just to keep up, and toward something more intentional. Something that feels like home.

Here, food is more than recipes. It’s how we care for ourselves. It’s how we mark the seasons, create rhythm in our days, and return to what matters when life feels overwhelming.

At Thyme Harvest, you’ll find seasonal recipes made with simple, thoughtful ingredients. Meals that are nourishing without being complicated. Recipes that feel good to make and even better to come home to.

Alongside the food, there are reflections on slow living, starting over, and building a life that feels steady, soft, and your own.

This is not about perfection. It’s about presence.

An invitation to cook a little slower, live a little softer, and find beauty in the everyday.

About Me

Hi, I’m Katie.

I’m a Los Angeles–based recipe developer, food stylist, and former pastry chef. I’ve spent years working in professional kitchens and in food media—on sets, behind the scenes, and in spaces where food is created at a fast pace and high level.

And while I’m deeply grateful for that experience, this space comes from a different part of me.

Thyme Harvest was created as a return.

A return to simple cooking. To quiet mornings. To meals that don’t need to impress anyone but still feel deeply satisfying. A return to myself, in many ways.

My background has shaped how I cook—I value technique, balance, and beautiful ingredients—but the way I share food here is softer. Slower. More personal.

You’ll find recipes inspired by the seasons, by local produce, and by the kind of meals I actually want to eat in my everyday life. There’s a mix of comfort and intention here—food that feels grounding, not overwhelming.

Beyond the kitchen, this space also holds pieces of my life as it is now. The in-between seasons. The rebuilding. The quiet work of creating something meaningful and sustainable.

If you’re here, I hope you feel a sense of ease.

Like you don’t have to rush.
Like you can take your time.
Like you’re allowed to build a life that feels good to live in.

Thank you for being here.
